Port Fairy, Victoria

Port Fairy is only a 3.5 hour drive from Melbourne, much closer than I thought. With it's cute old whalers cottages, blue stone churches and the vintage looking Port Fairy Confectionery Shop, it's well worth the trip!

Travel in style - I love the dash of this car!

This walking track separates our back yard from the beach!

Our accommodation, looks how I think the Hamptons on Long Island should look - I'll find out next week when I'm there!

Courtyard for the Port Fairy Confectionery Shop. Cute.

View from our balcony, watching dolphins is mesmerising!

Honey biscuits!

Delicious home made honey biscuits. They are a tradition in my family, we receive them every Christmas from my grandma and we all hang out for them then guzzle them all up! It reminds me of Christmas (so close!). I think they are one of my favourite things, firstly because they were made by my grandma and secondly because they are just soooo cute! Defiantly made with love!

Bendigo

So, I did a small road trip to Bendigo to see 'The White Wedding Dress' exhibit at the Bendigo Art Gallery; showing 200 years of wedding fashions, well worth the trip!

However, I also found this amazingly opulent church; Sacred Heart Cathedral...

There was a lovely older man inside to give information about the church too. Even better!

Perth!

Delish bagel from Hobart Deli (45A Hobart St, North Perth).
Also, note cool sculpture in top picture, on right hand wall made from wooden coat hanger pieces.

Perth. View from Kings Park.

Kings Park Tree Walk.

Loved the big walk along the river, from Kings Park to the Bell Tower and back.

Super cute boat shed. Love the shade of blue it's painted.

Cool apartments between Kings Park and the River.

Old building on Murray St Mall.

Pretty tree in Kings Park.

Best gift store ever; Aspects of Kings Park. They stock Dinosaur Designs, Mud Australia, Victoria Mason jewellery, good books etc.

Tutti Frutti. Self serve ice cream, paid by weight. I had green tea and chocolate ice cream, with pineapple, speckles and wafer topping!

Green & Co, amazing cake selection!!

Empire, amazing home wares store (521-525 Beaufort St, Highgate, Perth).

Planet Books, amazing selection of books (636-628 Beaufort St, Mount Lawley).

Bread and watermelon salad, mmm... (@ Five Bar).

Amazing lamb, cocktails and dessert at Greenhouse (100 St Georges Terrace, Perth). Matt Stone was cooking in the kitchen.

Cottesloe Beach, and the tea rooms.

Fremantle at dusk. Little Creatures worth a look, there's even a sand pit for the kiddies!!

Weekend markets.
